LiveTranslator is a translation tool for speech, conversations, text and photos. This policy explains what data the app processes and how.
The app has no developer server. The following is stored locally on your device only and is never sent to us: translation history, saved sessions and call transcripts; voice recordings you create in the Recordings tab; your glossary, quick phrases and app settings; your OpenAI API key, if you enter one, stored encrypted using the Android Keystore. You can delete this data at any time within the app, or by uninstalling the app.
Some optional features require your own OpenAI API key: AI reply suggestions, context-aware AI translation, AI conversation summary, and Whisper transcription of recordings. When you use these features, the relevant text and/or audio is sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection to OpenAI for processing, and the result is returned to your device. On-device translation with Google ML Kit, photo text recognition and speech recognition are used for core translation and may download language models over the internet.
Microphone - to recognise and translate speech. Camera, optional - to translate text from photos. Internet - to download translation models and, if enabled, to use OpenAI features. Notifications and foreground service - to keep listening reliably while translating.
We do not collect your data on our servers, we have none. We do not use advertising or analytics SDKs. We do not sell or share your data with third parties, except the OpenAI processing described above that you explicitly enable.
The app is not directed at children under 13.

Aplikace nema vlastni server. Historie prekladu, prepisy hovoru, nahravky, slovnik a nastaveni se ukladaji jen lokalne ve vasem zarizeni. Vas OpenAI API klic, pokud jej zadate, je ulozen sifrovane pomoci Android Keystore.
Volitelne AI funkce, tedy navrhy odpovedi, kontextovy preklad, AI shrnuti a prepis pres Whisper, vyzaduji vas vlastni OpenAI klic. Pri jejich pouziti se prislusny text nebo zvuk odesle sifrovane do OpenAI ke zpracovani; jinak se nikam neodesila. Aplikace nepouziva reklamni ani analyticke nastroje a data neprodava.
